American National Life Insurance has an innovative term life insurance product that comes with the accelerated benefit rider (also known as living benefits rider) attached at no extra cost.

These policies can be no-medical exam or fully underwritten depending on the amount of death protection needed.

American National Insurance Company term periods are available in 10, 15, 20, and 30 years.

ANICO’s Signature Term is competitive compared to other top insurance carriers such as Protective and American General.

All Signature Term policies are convertible to any permanent life policy that ANICO currently offers without any health questions asked. You are allowed to convert anytime during the term period up to your 65th birthday.

ANICO Signature Term is great product used in place of mortgage protection insurance sold through a bank.

Riders Available for Signature Term Life Insurance:

  • Accelerated Benefit rider comes free of charge with all policies.
  • Children’s Term Rider-Insure your child or adopted child until age 25.

The Executive Universal life product is a traditional universal life policy that comes with cash value accumulation along with a flexible premium and flexible death benefit.

The premium is not guaranteed and could increase in the future if the cash value doesn’t accumulate as planned.  With that said if the cash value does perform then future premiums could decrease.

Premiums can be invested in a fixed account or these index crediting options:

  • Point to Point with Cap- Interest rate earned is based on change in the S&P 500 with a floor cap of 0%
  • Point to Point with Higher Cap-Interest based on change in S&P 500 with a floor cap of 1%

Innovative Underwriting by American National

American National life insurance has one of the best accelerated underwriting process’ in the insurance industry.

An automated underwriting process called, Xpress Plus, offers life insurance cases of up to $1 million dollars without requiring an exam if you qualify.

Ages 0-50 can apply for up to $1 million dollars of coverage and clients ages 51-60 can apply up to $500,000. You can avoid doing a medical exam if your health is good.

All face amounts under $250,000, except for Signature Whole life, are no medical life insurance policies with American National.

What are Their Niches?

  • Clients age 61 and above are allowed to have a higher body mass index, cholesterol ratios, and blood pressure readings than most other insurance carriers.
  • Sleep apnea that has a history of being well controlled, may qualify for a preferred rating.
  • Certain anxiety and depression may qualify for preferred rates.
  • Diabetes, with a well controlled history may qualify for a standard plus rating.
